Tickets
Tickets for events at the House of Culture are sold through Lippu.fi
For any ticket-related inquiries, please contact Lippu.fi customer service.
Some events may also have tickets available at the venue entrance. You can find information about possible on-site ticket sales on the event’s info page.
Cloakroom service
For all public events at the House of Culture, a security check is conducted at the entrance to ensure a safe experience for everyone.
Prohibited items include outside food and drinks, drugs and dangerous items such as weapons, knives, fireworks, explosives, or any other harmful objects.
Small snacks are allowed.
We kindly ask that coats, umbrellas, large backpacks, and bags be left in the cloakroom.
A cloakroom service fee of 4,00 € will be charged at the time of use.
Age limits
The House of Culture hosts a wide variety of events, each with its own age restrictions. Some events are strictly 18+, while others are open to all ages. It’s common for events to have separate sections for different age groups — with certain areas reserved for those over 18 and others open to everyone. Please check the specific age limit for each event on the event information page. For questions regarding age restrictions and ticket policies, Lippu.fi customer service is available to assist you.
Accessibility and inclusion
The House of Culture warmly welcomes all visitors to enjoy concerts and events. Our facilities and services have been developed to ensure accessibility for guests with reduced mobility or other functional needs. We kindly ask guests using wheelchairs, walkers, or guide dogs to arrive well in advance of the event, so our staff can assist with navigation and seating if needed.
Aalto Hall
- To the right of the Aalto Hall entrance, there is an automatic door for visitors with reduced mobility. The door opens with a push button.
- An accessible restroom is located in the Aalto Hall lobby, near the ticket counter and cloakroom.
- The elevator to Aalto Hall is next to the ticket counter. Our staff will accompany guests into the hall and assist with finding their seats.
Other facilities
- Meeting rooms are accessible via a ramp from the front yard. The lobby door opens automatically from the right-side door of the conference entrance. Button located on the right.
- The conference lobby includes two accessible restrooms.
- All meeting rooms on the second floor are accessible. The Alvar Auditorium includes wheelchair spaces in the front section.
- Bistro & Bar Sopu is accessible through the conference entrance.
- Peilisali (on floor -1) is accessible via elevator from the conference lobby. An accessible restroom is available inside.
- Unfortunately, the KULT Club is not accessible.
Wheelchair spaces in Aalto Hall
- Aalto Hall includes three reserved spaces for wheelchairs, located near the accessible elevator on the main floor.
- Assistant tickets are available free of charge for many concerts (a service or delivery fee may apply).
Event organizers define assistant ticket policies, so we recommend confirming the details when purchasing tickets.
Parking
- There is one designated accessible parking space next to the House of Culture, marked with the international symbol of access. A separate drop-off lane in front of the building allows for convenient stops by vehicles such as accessible taxis.
Guide dogs
- Guide and assistance dogs are welcome at all concerts and events. If needed, dogs can be left in a designated quiet area in the lobby. We ask guests accompanied by service dogs to arrive early to avoid congestion. Our staff will assist and guide customers accompanied by service dogs as needed.

All lost property at the House of Culture is delivered to Finnish Lost Property Office

At the House of Culture, everyone can be themselves without fear of insecurity. We follow the principles of safer spaces in our facilities.
We have a zero tolerance policy for all forms of discrimination, harassment, racism, sexism, violence, homophobia or transphobia, and any other inappropriate behavior.
If you notice any safety-related issues, please immediately approach our staff. Every person working at our events is ready to assist if needed.
