Accessibility and inclusion
The House of Culture warmly welcomes all guests to enjoy concerts and events. Our facilities and services have been developed to ensure accessibility for individuals with mobility or functional impairments. We kindly ask guests using wheelchairs, walkers, or guide dogs to arrive well in advance of the event to allow our staff to assist with navigation and access if needed.
Aalto Hall
- An automatic door for persons with reduced mobility is located to the right of the Aalto Hall entrance. It opens with a push-button.
- An accessible restroom is located in the Aalto Hall lobby, near the ticket counter and coat check.
- An elevator to Aalto Hall is located next to the ticket counter. Our staff will accompany guests into the hall and assist in finding their seats if necessary.

- The meeting rooms can be accessed from the front yard via a ramp. The entrance to the lobby opens through the right-hand automatic door at the meeting room entrance. The push-button is located on the right side of the entrance.

Wheelchair spaces and assistants

Assistant tickets for wheelchair users can be purchased through Lippu.fi. Other assistant tickets can be obtained at Lippupiste service points.
Parking
-
There is one designated accessible parking space in the lot next to the House of Culture. The space is clearly marked with a disability symbol.
In front of the building, there is a separated drop-off lane for vehicles, such as accessible taxis.
Guide dogs
- Guide and assistance dogs are welcome at concerts and events. If needed, dogs can be left in a designated calm area in the lobby.
Visitors with guide or assistance dogs are kindly asked to arrive early to avoid crowding. Our staff will be happy to assist and guide customers accompanied by dogs, if needed.
